Own it · Run it yourself

Run AI agents for real client work. See what each client costs.

Orionfold Relay runs on your own machine. Nothing leaves it. Point it at your client work, run it across local and cloud models, approve every result before it ships, and watch each client's cost add up on its own. Built for solo founders and small teams doing real work for real clients.

The Problem

The missing piece between one agent and real work.

AI models are strong. Agent tools keep getting better. But there is still a gap between running one agent and running real, paid work for your clients. Nobody has filled it.

The demand is real. But most builders still tape together 8 to 15 tools that do not talk to each other: one for chat, one for scheduling, one for tracking cost. No shared memory, no single sign-off, no one place to see what every agent is doing.

Working together

Agents that hand work to each other, not stuck in their own silos.

See it running

The cockpit, on real screens.

Not mockups. This is the running Relay board, the same one you get from one command.

Describe an app

Say what you want. Relay builds it.

You describe a client task in plain words, like "turn a receipt photo into a bookkeeping entry." Relay builds it for you from its own parts: an agent, a workflow, a schedule, and a table or two. No code, no setup. The next client who needs the same thing reuses it in minutes.

The Relay app builder: a plain-language prompt turns into a running app, with ready-made starter apps below.

Multi-vendor, no lock-in

Switch models per task. No rewrites.

Different work wants different models, and the best one changes every few months. Relay lets you pick the model per task, per schedule, or per step: reasoning on Claude, code on Codex, documents on Gemini, and low-stakes work on a free local model. One agent runs on any of them, so switching never means rebuilding it. The cost view shows the blended mix so you can prove the savings.

The Relay cost and usage view: spend pacing, the active provider mix, and per-project cost that maps to a client retainer.

Customers, first-class

One customer, many projects, real cost.

Each account you run work for is a real customer record, not just a label on a project. Link a customer to their projects and every agent run bills its cost back to them on its own. So per-client cost is a real total from the usage ledger, not a number you add up by hand. That is the base for seeing your margin against each retainer.

The Relay customer book: each account by type, with linked projects and a 30-day cost rollup per customer.

One board for every client, every result through your sign-off

The Relay task board: multi-step, multi-client work across every status, each card carrying its client, workflow, and agent.
One board, every client
The Relay inbox: approvals, agent questions, and a permission queue, so nothing reaches a client without your sign-off.
Every result waits for you

Free and open

The engine is open source and free to use. You install it with npm and it gives you one place to run agents and workflows. Nothing is locked behind a paywall to get started.

Install

npm i -g orionfold-relay

Or run it without installing: npx orionfold-relay. Then relay is your command.

Built for an agency

Your way of working, mapped.

The way you already run client work maps straight onto Relay. Each part of your day becomes a building block, so you are not bending your work to fit a tool.

Clients Projects

One workspace per client, with their own notes the agents read on their own.

Kinds of work Agents

21 ready-made agents, each tuned for a job like lease review or grant research.

Services Blueprints

15 templates. A packaged service you set up once and run for each client.

Deliverables Schedules

Weekly digests, monthly statements, and deadline watches that run on their own.

Billing Cost and usage

Per-client spend you can see, so the retainer maps to real cost.

Sign-off Inbox

Every client-facing result goes through your approval, with a full record.

The five gaps every AI agency hits

AI agents can already sum up a lease, research a grant, or sort a receipt. The hard part is everything around that. The more clients you serve, the bigger each gap gets. Orionfold Relay is built to close all five.

  1. 1

    Many steps, one run

Real client work is a chain: take it in, do it, check it, send it. Relay runs the whole sequence with checkpoints, so you are not gluing steps together by hand.

  2. 2

    Your words, the agent’s work

You think in clients, services, and deliverables. Agents think in prompts. Projects, agents, and blueprints give both a shared language.

  3. 3

The whole life of a job

A deliverable needs scheduling, retries, a way to pick up where it left off, cost tracking, and a record. Relay carries all of it.

  4. 4

    Trust and sign-off

Agents that read client files and draft client-facing work need guardrails. Relay routes every result through your approval and keeps the trail funders and stakeholders ask for.

  5. 5

    One command to start

Standing up a workspace should not mean cloning a repo and wiring a database. Relay is one command, no setup, and your data stays on your machine.

What is free, what a license adds

Free forever, license optional.

The engine is free forever. A license unlocks the premium packs you own. Here is the line, in plain terms.

Free with the engine

Open source, forever

  • The full engine and command-line tool, forever
  • Run your own copy, your data stays on your machine
  • All 21 agents and 15 service templates
  • Build apps, track per-client cost, add free and open packs

A license adds

On top of everything free

  • Premium packs you own
  • One license unlocks every premium pack, not one at a time
  • The agency pack: real-estate and nonprofit agents, blueprints, and a customer setup
  • New packs and pack updates for 12 months

The free engine is not a trial or a cut-down version. It is a complete operations layer you can run for real. A license adds premium packs and their updates. It does not unlock core features you would otherwise be missing. This is a promise we hold every product to: read how our gating works.

Packs by job

A pack is a ready-made setup you drop in with one command instead of building it yourself. Your license adds it: run relay pack add with your own private link and it installs. Packs are grouped by the job you are doing, not the title you hold.

Run a client agency Shipped

Security and trust

Built to pass a security review.

Relay runs on your own machine, holds none of your data, and keeps working even if we do not. Here are the four questions a careful buyer asks, answered in plain words, each backed by a page that links the code that proves it.

  • Does Relay send our data to you?

No. Relay never sends your data to Orionfold. It runs on your own machine, with no tracking, no usage reporting, and no license check-ins. When it reaches out at all, it only reads public sources, like the one-time, checked download of the app itself from GitHub. Anything that can leave your machine, like the AI models you pick, is listed in full with an off switch.

    See every network call
  • What data do you hold about us?

Only your purchase record. Everything the product touches, your projects, tasks, documents, and history, lives in a file on your own machine. AI work runs through your own model accounts, not ours. We run no service in the middle, so there is nothing for us to hold and no data agreement to chase.

    Read the security packet
  • Can we trust what we install?

Yes, and you can check it before you run it. Every release is published straight from our build with a signed record of where it came from, and ships a full parts list of what is inside. The download is checked against a fingerprint before it opens. Nothing updates itself, so the version you reviewed stays the version you run.

    See the supply chain
  • What if you disappear?

You keep everything. The engine is open source, your data is on your machine, and your license works offline forever. If Orionfold went away tomorrow, your setup keeps running. The honest edge cases are written down too.
