Why pair them
Canva is where a launch post, a one-pager or a deck gets its look. It has templates for more than 1,000 kinds of design, and Magic Write can write or rewrite the text inside them.
What Canva does not do is check the words against your own files. When a post gives a number, nothing in the design shows where that number came from.
Flow is for that part. It drafts from your own files, puts a footnote on every figure, and waits for your yes before anything changes. Canva still does the design. Flow is where the words and numbers get checked first.
How they could work together
We have not walked a Flow to Canva handoff yet. This is the split we suggest, and where each step’s proof is.
- Write and check in Flow. Draft the copy with Expand with Sources. Every figure gets a footnote to the file it came from. In our campaign walk, all 25 figures matched their sources.
- Approve it. Nothing enters the document until you tick I accept changes. The History keeps each version and the run that made it.
- Take the text to Canva. Copy the approved text into your Canva design, or publish from Flow. Canva can import a PowerPoint file, but its help page says charts are ignored on import, so plan to make charts again in Canva.
The path to start with
Start with campaign with proof. It is a launch post where every number points at its source, in two languages, with every screen shown. That is the text you would then design in Canva.

Marketers
A brief and a results workbook in. A cited launch post out, in two languages, as a Word file and a web page.

What Flow is not
- Flow is not a design tool. It has none of Canva's templates, photos or layout tools, and it does not replace them.
- We have not moved a Flow file into Canva yet. Canva's help page says its PowerPoint import ignores charts, so a chart from Flow may need to be made again in Canva.
- Flow is built for one person reviewing AI work. Canva Docs lets many people edit together at once.
- Flow is a Mac app only, and its AI features need Flow Pro once your 10 Pro Days are used.
